The brass brushes are important if you have a stainless steel or porcelain grill. Brass is a softer metal and won’t scratch the surface, helping to keep your grill looking great. If you own a grill with stainless steel or porcelain coated grates, we recommend you stick with the brass brushes for the best results.
Ordered for our grillbot. Easy to put on/take off. So glad they thought to make these. Friend said they last a long time!
I love my grillbot and the new replacement brushes are great!
Bought these stainless steel brushes to replace the brass brushes that came with the Grillbot. My grill grates are cast iron and needed stronger brushes to get a better cleaning. These worked marginally better than the brass brushes. Still need to follw up with a conventional grill brush to finish cleaning though.
The Grillbot is awesome! Spending $100 on such a device is a bit extravagant, but worth every penny of that $100. The only delay in the whole process was the first 8 hours of charging before I could use it. It works as promised - really covers the whole grill and has super strong/stiff brushes, so it takes off everything that was stuck to my grill. Looks almost like new! Here's a video showing the operation. NOTE: do not try this at home. It is supposed to run with the grill closed - and you can see why if it were open it would be a problem. Spoiler alert: I managed to coax it back into the BBQ.
