Lastly, Labor Day weekend is here and that means we’ve got some great recipes!

The first is a simple spice rub that can be prepared in 2 minutes! You can coat this delicious mixture to anything you grill. From steak to chicken, lamb to pork – this rub can even be combined with ground beef for a “spiced” hamburger to make even your pickiest guests’ mouths water.

Simply combine:

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of paprika

2 teaspoons of garlic powder

2 teaspoons of onion powder

1½ to 2 teaspoons of chili powder (depending on your tolerance to spice)

Another favorite Team Grillbot recipe is for a lemon-garlic-caper marinade. This works very well with either chicken or any other type of poultry. It’s also nice with shrimp!

Into a medium size bowl:

Zest 1 lemon

Juice that same lemon

Add 1/3 cup of olive oil (or any oil you like to grill with)

2-3 tablespoons of caper juice

To this mixture, add:

2 ½ tablespoons of roughly chopped capers

~½ head of garlic

1 teaspoon of dried, crushed oregano

Freshly ground pepper and sea salt to taste

Until next time, America!
